All my friends tell me I should move on - Twohundredsixtythree (Explored) by Jacksonian22 on Flickr.Via Flickr:
So I have to narrate a song with pictures for my photo class, and it has to be finished by next week. So this is my first one, I mentioned this project and posted the song a while back so yah that’s what I’m doing. This is the first one where my concept was kind of about a lover departed, however to me this is more about how people who have hurt us and left us have the ability to reach through to our emotions. It’s more about how you can grow past events, but you can’t change emotions, and you can’t change the cracks people have left in you.
Pregnant Hadouken by Extra Medium on Flickr.Via Flickr:
For whatever strange reason, the concept of Hadouken has been hitting the internets with everyone jumping on the bandwagon. Just like planking or owling or coning, this is the newest photo trend. And funny enough just a couple weeks ago I did a maternity shoot down at the beach and applied this same concept with the young woman and her fiancé. The concept was that her belly was so big and the idea of a baby so amazing that he was just blown away.
The Flickr Blog even picked up on this trend so now we know it’s huge.
I know when our nugget gets here in May we’ll be just as blown away. Hope your weekend is amazeballs.
Do Not Eat the Baby by Extra Medium on Flickr.Via Flickr:
Did a newborn shoot on Sunday morning for the folks I did the maternity shoot for a couple of months ago. They have a family dog, and those of you who have a dog know how they become part of the family. This dog was very protective and showed it’s affection to the new addition to the family. And the baby was perfectly fine with being licked allllllll over.
When I got close to the baby, the dog growled at me, protecting the baby. Eventually the dog was okay with me being near him, but that dog has the right protective instincts.
Kid is building up germ immunity quickly!
Anyone else ever get kisses from their dog?

Colors were more saturated, but well… it’s flickr, so just ignore. :)

I spent almost a whole day in my grandma’s house, in a village, so yes, there’s a lot of green, nature, old places, etc….
I for certainly wasn’t going to miss this opportunity to take some pictures! This was taken in my grandma’s house backyard, in a garden/market garden.
I don’t need to tell how filthy, sweaty and tired I was in the end. It was a hot day and there I was, in the middle of a maize rolling on the ground.
I love these moments.
